During appointments, networking events & with friends I receive a lot of questions from style advice to "what are some common mistakes?" Here I will answer a few of those questions to help you boost your style quickly and easily.
How much does Made to Measure Cost?
The common belief of MTM is that it is expensive. Most people new to MTM thinks a suit is $1,200 or more. That is not the case at all, our suits start at $579 and go up to $899. We are also often asked how much a full outfit costs, here is a quick rundown:
Suit - $579
Dress Shirt - $99
Tie - $39
Pocket Square - $35
Outfit = $752.00
We also have our package pricing available where you can receive 2 suits, 3 dress shirts, 1 vest, 3 ties & 2 pocket squares starting at $1,480 to get you through each week with a whole new wardrobe. We pride ourselves on helping our clients move up the corporate ladder, our packages are a key to that.

Iron Free Shirts
I am asked by a lot of guys if we have iron free shirts. The one thing I have noticed with iron free shirt is the quality isn't there. Sure they are convenient and most guys, myself included, hate ironing but here is a quick style hack, throw your dress shirt in the dryer. For our single ply cottons the creases come out pretty easily on low heat after a few minutes. On a higher end dryer there is a "press" option that can get out creases even in our two ply cotton dress shirts. Again, it is low heat and takes about 5 minutes. Obviously nothing beats a crisp ironing but this is a quick fix alternative.
What is the Best Suit To Have?
Most men have a charcoal grey, light grey and/or black, they think these are the essentials and they are...but the navy blue suit stands out. It is the essential because of its versatility and because in my opinion in stands out. Once you have the navy and a charcoal grey you can start to branch out and have some fun by adding some patterns and different colors.
What Should Be My Next Suit Purchase?
After the essentials we love adding a windowpane or glen check since both are a subtle pattern and eases you into adding new styles and colors. We suggest sticking with a different tone of blue or grey but you may surprise yourself with the style you like once you search our fabric swatches.
What is the Biggest Mistake Men Make?
This question is really easy for me to answer, although I wrote an article on the top style mistakes, what I consider the biggest mistake is not adding a pocket square. It completes the look even if you only wear the essential white pocket square with a square fold. Having a pocket square makes people notice and immediately updates your look.
We hope that gives you a better idea of not only what we do, but how to begin your journey to dressing well. If you have any questions for us please comment below or e-mail me personally at [email protected]
